FROM NARROW NECK CAMP. Several people well-known in Auckla__ ■who were placed under detention hy the military authorities during the war, have been granted parole, pending such time . as the Government arrives at a' decision as to what is to finally be done with them. Among the persons so far released on parole in this manner are Mean*. -_ul Hansen, G. Kronield, C. The men mentioned above', have been granted monthly parole, _ut this cannot be extended to the'remainder of the persons detained at Narrow Neck—some 35 in number—as they have , no means and would be destitute, if - turned out of their present place of abode.
