A big blaze occurred early this morning at the Roofing, Tile, and Brick Company's factory, on the Tau_aru__! I Matapuna Road. The fire was first noticed at about 1 o'clock, when the building was blazing furiously. Six kilns and the drying-room were destroyed. The machinery in the manufacturing department was 6aved by the strenuous ■ efforts of the Fire Brigade.
