ALWAYS MERRY AND BRIGHT.
THE LAST NIGHT. This is the last day, and to-night will be the last evening, of the Old English Fair at the Town Hall. After eleven o'clock to-night the animated spectacle 1 will be dissipated, and those who have ' : not seen the show will have no other .i> recourse but to listen to the accounts of those who did. I; To-night's arrangements are for the |' Miss Daphne Knight dance recital, with I lovely little ladies in pretty and etTec- ! tive costumes. The pupils of Miss ' Knight have always attracted the profound attentions of the multitudes when they have displayed their terpsichorean gracee. That is their role to-night, when they will provide the epectacular part of the entertainment, while the displays, : the pretty girls selling typical trophies of a bazaar, the games, the side-shows, and all the other casual amusements are in progress.
