Campbell Duncan, who has been for nearly ten years medical officer in charge of Ilanmer Springs Sanatorium, has been appointed Government balneologist at Rotorua. Since September. 1015. Dr. Duncan has been serving with the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces in Egypt, France, and at No. 2, New Zealand Oeneral Hospital, Wnlton-on-Thames. He was wounded in the Somme offensive of If) Hi. Prior to returning to New Zealand be was for some time nt the Royal Mineral Water Hospital. Bath, studying the latest meihod of balnei ology as practised there, and for some | time previous to his return to Now ; Zealand was associated with Dr. JonesI Llewellyn, of Tlarley Street, London, and iTlath, who is senior Oovernor of the Royal Mineral Water Hospital at Bath, land one of the leading authorities on rheumatism nnd chronic diseases in England. Since returning to New Zealand, Dr. Duncan has been attached to the King George V. Hospital as medical officer in charsrc of physio-therapeutics.
