PARNELL SWIMMING CLUB.

The annual genernl meeting of the Parnell Swimming Club was held at the Parnell Kootball Hall on Tuesday, the 21st October. Mr. P. K. Fraser (president) presided over a fair attendance of members. The annual report and balance-sheet were rend and adopted. Thp election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—Patrou. .1. 11. Gunson; president. P. B. Fraser: vice-presi-dents, left to Incoming committee: audi tors, Messrs. A. G. Buchanan and P. K. Fraser; hon. secretary. Is' Kronfeld: hon. treasurer. I). H. Itowe: delegates to Auckland Centre. N.Z.A.S.A.. Messrs. SS. Kronfeld. R. Webster, and D. H. Itowe: manage men! committee. Messrs. .1. Hamilton, .! Hedges,. 1v Davidson. F. Hedges, sen.. E. F Bums, A. Twlname, and R. Webster, with club cantnin ex officio; club captain, R. I-. Barker. Several new members were elected. ANNUAL lIEPORT. linrlng the season the club held five race; for its inemhers. and although the entries were perhnps on the small side the raclnt was interesting and keen, and tbe torn displayed was very encouraging, and shcwi well for the future. It was decided to glvi a prize for the most points scored dnrini the season, and this was won by one of tin youngest members of the club. A. Barker who showed greatly improved form, and h< should be heard of In the swimming worlc during the coming season. The finances o the club are in a very healthy position, as will be seen by the balance-sheet, for atfte: bringing forward £20 3/7 from tbe previous seaston there is now a balance in the bank of £2tj 9 .
