(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CIIRISTCHURCH, this day. Arthur Johnson, arrested at Invercargill, charged with desertion by absenting himself from a medical examination at Timaru, was found guilty by a Court-martial. Johnson stated tliat ha enlisted, was rejected, and thought he was turned down altogether. Thereforehe did not notify hie chan«e of address. Col. Chaffey. Officer Commanding district, confirmed the finding of the Courtmartial, but remitted the sentence and prisoner was released.
