LOAN FOR ONEHUNGA.
£35,000 FOR STREET PAYING. The trustees of bhe Auckland Savings Bank have agreed to lend the Onehunp;a Borough Council the sum of £35,000, that being the estimated cost of paving the .main street with concrete from the Soddon Memorial to the wharf. The terras are: —Interest on the first instalment of £5000, at the rate of 5$ per cent, per annum, and on the balance at the rate current when the first 'nstalment of ihe balance is required. Interest to be charged on each instalment from the respective date of advance. Denomination of debentures to be £1000. The council decided laet night to accept the terms of the loan.
