The white and blue ensigns may be flown at Auckland on ceremonial occasions during the visit of H.M.6. New . Zealand, according to a telegram received by the Deputy-Mayor (Mr. A. J. Entrican) from tiie Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon. J. B. Hine). In the ordinary way these flags may not be flown on shore without special permission from tbe naval authorities. Mr. Entrican has also received a wire from the Mayor of Wellington (Mr. J. p. Luke, M.P.) stating that the club-rooms established in the Wellington Town Hall I for the benefit of the crew of H.M.s. New Zealand were a great success, and expressing the hope that similar clubroorns will :_e_ established in Auckland. It has already been decided to establish rooms in one of the sheds on the Queen's wharf, near to the battle-cruiser's berth. They will be conducted by the Auckland branch of tbe Navy League.
