SOLDIER SETTLERS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAKATANE, this day. Mr. G. J. Murray, a member of the Auckland Land Board, is engaged examining applicants for sections on the Matuku and Mangateparu soldiers' settlements. This morning he examined ten, nine for Matuku, which is on Rangitaika swamp, and one for Mangateparu, which is near Morrinsville. •
