TRANSACTIONS IN -GRAIN
CHARGES AGAINST HILL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. At the Police Court to-day, AVilliaro Root. Hill, an elderjy man, was remanded for a week on a Charge that in incurring a debt of £43 1/3 to H. Lloyd, on May 22, 1915, he obtained credit by fraud. It was alleged that accused started as a grain broker in Dunedin in April, 1015, first paying for a small consignment and later ordering a large consignment, and. selling it on his own account. He was arrested in Auckland.
Other charges are pending relative to transactions in Oore, Invercargill, As'liburton, and Oamarti.
