CONCERN IN CHRISTCHURCH.

It is feared that the effect of the goslow policy at the Blackball, Paparoa, and State mines on the West Coast will be serious in Christchurcli. Those connected with the trade believe that the policy will reduce the West Coast supplies'for Canterbury by at least 50 per cent. The chairman of* the Christchurch Coal Committee has received no information as to bow long the miners intend to continue the policy, or what steps the proprietors will take.
