FIRE AT WAITEKAURI.
(By Tefegr»£>a.—Own Correspondent.! THAMES, this day A four-roomed house at Waitekauri was destroyed by lire on Saturday. The house was occupied by Mr. J. Addas, a returned soldier, his wife, and a child aged one year. Tho family lost practically everything, even clothes, jewellery, and wedding .presents. Mrs. Rhind, owner of tho house, is an epidemic widow, and as there was no insurance she is a heavy loser. The lire is believed to have been caused by rats,
