WILL TROBABLY ACCEPT APPOINTMENT. (Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. •Speculation is rife in the lobbies respecting the identity of the Ministers yet to be appointed. There is now a s+Tong probability thiifc Mr. Ooates will i 'onsider his decision to stand doivn. Pressure is being brought to bear on him by the Premier: and t>y members with, whom he is popular. Mr. Massey desires to 'have a North 'Auckland member in the Ministry for geoaraphica 1 reasons. It is likely that the fourth now man will not be chosen for some days.
Mr. Nosworthy will probably take over Agriculture, while .Mr. Hine is almost certain to be associated witih Kir James Allen in Defence and repatriation work. Tho Hon. F. D, Bell will continue to administer Education for the present. Mr. Scott has been appointed senior Whip to the Reform party, and he will have -fJlie choosing of his associate.
