A CIVIL CLAIM.
LEXOTHY PBOCEEHHXGS FINISHED. The prolonged, civil action, in which Messrs John Hums. Ltd. (Mr. A. E. Skelton), claimed £109 odd for iron and *teel supplied, from G. H. Edwards, contractor of this City (Mr. .1. i:. HailUow). was finished before Mr. Hunt. S.M., in the Magistrate's Court this morning. Mr. Skelton occupied the attention of the Court for some time in his a<ldre>s. The Magistrate accepted the defendanfe evidence a≤ to the amount to be paid for iron urn! section eteol. which »«* the principal item in dispute, -and found for tho plaintiff on two items, and for the defendant on the balance. It is expected that the account will be reduced by i." l-o by the judgment, when it has been lixed by the clerk of the Court, to whom it was referred by the Magistrate.
