The engineer of the steamer Porpoise 'discovered an attempt to sink the vessel, several nuta being removed from the engine and the valve being taken out of the bilge pump. —(A. and N.Z. Cable.) RYAN LIBEL SUIT. SYDNEY, this day. The jury disr.greed and were discharged in the libel suit brought against the "Argus" by Mr. J. T. Kyan, Premier of Queensland.
