Leaving Mercer Wharf at 7 p.m.. returning from Huntly Wharf at midnight, arriving Mercer to connect with Auckland TraLo at 6.-10 a.m. Passengers Intending to utilise this service will need to leave Auckland by the 3.45 p.m. train. The "Auckland Star" motor cars, cannectIng with the steamer st Huntly, carry papers not only for the Watkato, but also for distribution right through the King Country. T!>e cars are. therefore, so heavily loaded that passengers by the steamer who wish to go beyond Huntly must make their own arrangements for conveyance.
