TOR THE NEW EXPRESS. RUSH FOE THE WELLINGTON TRIP. The Auckland Railway Department announces that the bookings to date 121 connection with the express train which is to leave Auckland for Wellington at 7.10 on the night of Tuesday, the 26th, have been particularly heavy. It behoves all intending passengers to make early application for reserved seats. Up to tJiu present only passengers for south of Taumarunui have been accepted. The Department also announces definitely that the express trains will be absolutely limited to one engine load and that under no circumstances will this be increased. The following is a schedule of the additions to the present service to come into operation next week: — Auckland-Wellington.—Express train to leave Auckland at 7.10 every Tuesday night and arrive Wellington at 1.8 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Express train to leave Wellington at 12.45 p.m. each Thursday, arriving Auckland (i.38 Friday morning. Wellington-New Plymouth.—Express leaves New Plymouth at 7.20 ajn. on Thursdays, arriving in Wellington at 7.10 the same night. Leaves Wellington at 5.20 a.m. Tuesdays, arriving New Plymonth 8.10 the same night.
