At the boxing tournament last nighfc there was a very large attendance, the Theatre Royal being packed, those present including visitors from all parts of the province. In the lightweights' contest Moran beat Wylie on points, four rounds being | fought. In the middleweight.- C'adman was ad- ! judged victor over Graham by one point in four rounds. In the big contest Pooley and Wallv Evans stripped in fine condition. The first round consisted principally of in-fighting. Evans holding and it finished fairly even. In the second round Pooley started briskly, and infighting ruled. Evans stopped to appeal to the referee. The men were ordered to fight on, and with two good blows the match was over, the contest ending with Pooley victorious.
