STRIKES IN JAPAN.
NEWSPAPERS SUSPENDED. (Received 9.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, August 11. I A dispatch from Tokyo states that virtually all the newspapers have suspended publication owing to a strike of ; printers, who demand higher wages. Numerous other strikes In various parts of Japan, even affecting Government establishments, are reported.—(A. and 'N.Z. Cable.)
