LANDING IN THE MORNING. The latest news from the Niagara is . that she may be expected to reach-Auck-land, in the early hours to-morrow morning. The examination of the ship by the. port health officer, Dr. Sharman, and the : ' Customs, will probably occupy an honrv or two, so that it is unlikely that the vessel will berth till between nine and ten o'clock. A limited number' of personal and political friends of the Prhn*Minister and Sir Joseph Ward w2l : 1» admitted inside the barrier at the wharf to greet them on their return from help-' ing to make history at the Peace Con-1,- , ference, but the public welcome to the two leaders will be held at the Town" Hall at three o'clock in the afternoon.
