PROCESSION ARRANGEMENTS.
The peace programme for Auckland ia gradually' evolving into something tangible and satisfactory, and the arrange? ments were committed to more or- less definite form at a meeting of the Peace. Celebratios Committee and the Procession Committee held yesterday afternoon. 'THE PROCESSION. Precedence in the' procession, was agreed to as follows: — King's Empire Veterans and wounded soldiers, in cars provided by the Auckland Automobile Association. To lead and put on speed to enable the accommodation of the passengers in the stand at the Domain before the arrival of the main procession. Returned soldiers. Territorial and other military units, with bands. Returned nurses. Red Cross nurses. Various patriotic organisations. Auckland City Council. Auckland Harbour Board. Borough. Councils, Town. Boards, and Road BoardsHospital and Charitable Aid Board. Education Board. Friendly societies. Trade unions and employers' unions. Mercantile marine. Detailed arrangements in regard to placing the various units within the groups were left in the hands of the honorary marshal (Mr. Cullen).
