I SALARIES AND SUPERANNUATION.! DUXEDTX. Thursday. A deputation representing the secondary school teachers waited on the Hon. J. A. Hanan, Minister for Education.-to-day, and ventilated frrievanep* regard-j ins salaries and superannuation. Tte-i •rardina; the latter, the deputation pointed j oi;t that two years in a training col-j lege counted for superannuation, but | four year? in training at a university' for secondary school was not counted. Tlie Minister said the position of secondary school teaehere had not received sufficient consideration. After paying a tribute to the work of the teachers, he said lie would do his best to have a satisfactory draft of a Dominion scale of salaries for secondary school teachers submitted to the Cabinet. The point raised regarding superannuation would be looked into.
