DOMINION'S WOOL CLIP.
I SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS. SATISFACTORY RATE. (Received 0.45 a.m.). LONDON. June 3. Lord lnveifortli, of the Ministry of Munitions, has sent Mr. Massey an interesting statement in regard to freight arrangements for New Zealand wool. He states that since February we have made arrangements for liners to carry -11 wool required for the United Kingdom and France up to December 31 this year, at the very favourable rate of 1 S-Sd. per pound. Four or five months hence the time will come to make arrangements for 1920 freight requirements. In justice to New Zealand sheep-farm-ers who have heavy interest in profits or resale of wool, the Ministry of Munitions will, of course, feel obliged to secure the lowest possible freight for wool which can he obtained from ships under the British ling —(Association Special.)
