TWICE BANKRUPT.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHKISTCHURCH, this day. At the Supreme Court in bankruptcy, an application for immediate discharge in the case of Edmund Peter Gill was opposed by counsel appearing for a Kaikoura creditor. Counsel said that bank-f rupt had posed as a sharebroker. His' debts were £1180 and his assets nil. This ■ was the second bankruptcy of the petitioner. Mr. Justice Herdman said that the circumstances were suspicious. An adjournment would be made till next sittings in August, when the Official Assignee will make further investigation and supply his Honor with a supplementary report of such investigation.
