BOWLING.
SOLDIERS VISIT REMUERA. The Remuera Bowling Club yesterday entertained a party of about 30 soldiers from the Hospital Annexe, a very pleasant afternoon being spent by both visitors and hosts. The guests were motored to the green In cars owned by Mrs. McFarlane ana Messrs. Clark, Henderson. McOallum, Iteid, Mellars, Itathbone, and Ellerbeck, and the day being fine and the green in good ordfti the soldiers thoroughly enjoyed themselves, a number of them taking part In the roll-up with members of the club. Afternoon tea was provided by Mrs. McKarlane. The result of the play was as follows: — Thompson, Tret he way, Morgan, Ilathbone —12, v. Kobluson, Groves, Hosslter, F. Clark—ll.
