LANDING TO BE PERMITTED.
ARMY TO CROSS GERMANY,
LONDON, April 6.

Herr Erzberger had a 40-minutes' interview with Marshal Foeh. He quitted the train looking deeply affected
Colonel Macalpin, who has returned from Poland, confirms the report that if social order is to be maintained not only food but raw material will be required to get the people to work. There is difficulty owing to the country's finances to procure these. It looks ns if Britain will have to render some financial aid. M. Paderewski, President of the Polish republic, will arrive in Paris on Sunday. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) GERMANS SATISFIED. (Received 0.45 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, April 6. German papers express satisfaction at the arrangement concerning Polish troops, and hope thai the transfer will be effected at the earliest possible moment.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
