LONDON DOPE PARTIES.
DE VTTEIXE ACQUITTED. . LONDON, April 6. The accused, De Vuelle, charged with manslaughter in connection with the supply of cocaine to Miss Billie Carleton, the actress who died from the effects of drugs, has been acquitted. The defence contended that there was no proof that her death was due to cocaine. Alternatively there was no proof that De Vculle supplied the cocaine. A further charge is pending of conspiracy in connection with the case.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
