BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.
AIR. BUCKLETOX SUCCEEDS MR. CAI.LKXDER. Our Dunedin correspondent advises that Mr. R. \V. Uibbs will remain in that city, having decided to decline an offer to transfer him to the management of the Auckland branch of the Bank of New Zealand. This is the first public announcement of important changes recently made. Mr. J. H. Upton, a director of "the Bank, informs us that Mr. William Callender is shortly retiring from the position of general manager, after fifty years' distinguished service with the Bank. Mr. I H. Buckleton, who has been manager in' Auckland for a number of years succeeds Mr. Callender and- will proceed to Wellington later in the year to take up the duties of general manager. Mr. Gibbsl declining the management of the Auckland branch leaves the position here unsettled in the meantime.
