Autumn Meeting was ron* inned at Flemington to-day. The weather vas fine, after lio-ht showers. Nick-a-Jack won the Hurdle Race for the hlrd year ln succession. He was ridden by leor-'e Scobie. Sir Ibex finished brilliantly in the C. M. Lloyd Stases. and beat the speedy Molly's Robe in the final furlong. Sir Ibex ran the last three furlongs in 36J. F. Dempsey stee**ed Sir Ibex. The Autumn Handicap was an interesting race. Boontree had a big lead in the early stages, but missed a place. Aeorinsrton looked a -winner at the distance, but Perkdale won in tbe last h?.lf-furlong. The New Zealand horse Snub won the Governor's Plate at the right end, and pulled up well. Snub started In the position of third favourite. The Tace was not fast run, the last half-mile taking nijs. Elkin ran out the finish of the Nursery Handicap, and won nicely. De Gama finished sixth in the River Handicap. The following were the results:— AUTUMN HURDLE RACF of 330SOVS. Three Miles.
