HARNESSING WAIKAREMOANA.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIROA (H. 8.), this day. The County Council yesterday decided to apply to the Government for permission to harness Waikaremoana for electric power, and also inviting local bodies on the East Coast, Napier and (Jisborne to call a conference with a view to aIV joining in.
