Sir.— l would like to draw attention as to how the universal twopenny tnim fare works out on a broken journey such an mine, and I am only one ot a very large number who travel by car to Queen Street, thence by train to rtaransahape Road- The cost at present is 2 weekly, but under (he new conditions suggested I would have to pay 4/ weekly —2d to Queen St. from Par'nell, thence to Karangahape Road, another 2d. There arc a great many in the same position as myself, who work at Stanley Street and Hobson Bay, and who live west of Queen Street. I truet this unjust charge will not be lost mjrht oi by our city fa them. —I am, etc.. H.J.U.
