TRAMS DISPUTE ENDED.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. Tlie agreement with the Tramway Employees' Union was ratified by the City Council this afternoon. It provides for an increase of 11/- a week to the flat rate in the existing schedule for inotormen and conductors, with the exception of those in the higher grades, who will receive an increase of 10/- a week. The existing bonus has been done away with, and the overtime rate has been increased by a penny an hour. The men outside the traffic department will receive an increase of lid. an hour, with A 5 per cent bonus added.
