Mr. John Hadden Barr, aged 8!): died at Dunedin yesterday. He came to Dunedin from Glasgow in 1861, and represented a ward in the first Dunedin City Council in 1805. One of his brothers, Mr. Archibald Barr, was for some years chief postmaster at Dunedin, while another brother, the Rev. Peter_ Barr, was a Congregational minister, who died in Dunedin.
