The weather was boisterous, and though it Improved during the day there was a lot of rain In the morning. The team played the local reps at Karort Park, the ground being very even, but slippery and treacherous. The teams —Auckland: Pawcett, Garland, lticketts, Baildon, Robinson, Hunt, Alexander, Alexander, Carr, leaver, and GrayBon. Wellington: Spiers, West. Cameron, Price, Hancock, Thorp. Law, Champness, Norton, Wheatloy, and Talt. Wellington won the bully, but Baildon set the Auckland forwards on the attack.
