LONDON, August 28. Heuter's French 'hea.dquarters correspondent reported last evening: Fresh Hews of the new advance is coming in every minute. Roye is completely in our lands, also Carrepuits, north-east of the town, and Gruny, to the southward. We lioW. Koiglise ajid Verpillieres, two and a-half and three miles south-east. To-day's advance at certain points reached a depth of four miles. A feature Of this near retreat was the swiftness with which the German, line broke up lolloping our counter-attack at St. Mard-les-Triots, on the outskirts of Rove, pn both, sides of-which, when, our troops got the order to advance, they found the gnemyietreating, and the offensive changed into pursuit.—(A. and N.Z.
