Captain W. 11. Hawkins, who lett New Zetland with the Fourteenth Reinforcements and returned to the Dominion in March last invalided, is now ActingCommandant at Somes Island.
Flight-Lieutenant. T. Dawson, son of Mr. Uobcrt Dawson, of Masterton. who recently descended in Denmark and was interned, has cabled to bis parents that he has effected his escape.
Sergeant-Major L. Dulloti, who has been awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal, is an "old boy" of St. Patrick* College, and was for some years a member of the staff ot" the Hank ol" New Zealand at Wellington. He. left with the Ninth Reinforcements, and has been on service in France ever since. His parents now reside in Auckland.
