MR. RONALD OPIE. (By Telesrapb.—P-8* Association.) <__OI_STCHUItGH, this 4ay. Mr. fltonald Opie died today si the Tea nit i4 a motor accident a month, ago. Eight or nine years ago Mr. Opie was" a prominent amateur sprinter, and *°n Australasian championships. He also represented the Dominion at the Empire Carnival in England in 1911. He was a schoolmaster, and tha son of .If. C. H. Opie, chairman of the Otago Education Board.
