a ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the management committee was held in the Sports Club last evening, the chairman, Mr Harrison, presiding. A letter was received from the V.M.C.A. senior team, asking for the transfer of two players from the North Shore team. The application not being quite in order, was referred to the secretary. Devonport Presbyterian wrote intimating their willingness to finance any three members of their team who may be selected in the representative team for the Brown Shield. It was decided to forward a letter to the Presbyterian Club thanking them for their offer. A discussion took place regarding the Brown Shield, and representative team, also the appointment of the selectors. It was eventually decided ttjat the matters be left over until the next fleeting. Fixtures for the week-end were approved of by the committee. .
