BUTTER AND CHEESE GRADING
SEASON'S WINNERS. The result of the butter and cheese grading competitions for the 1917-18 season were announced at the conference of North Auckland dairymen, by Mr. Jas. M. Phillips, president of the A. and P. Society, this morning The Weddell Cup, for butter, was won by the Pio Pio Dairy Company, with 93.16 points. The cheese shield has this year been won outright by tbe Island Dairy Company, Wyndham, with 93.33 points. The vious winners of tbe cheese shield were: 1910, Kapanga Co-op. Dairy Co.; 1911 Greytown Dairy Co.; 1912, no competition; 1913, Parkvale Dairy Co.; 1914 Taieri Dairy Co.; 1915. Horsham Downs-' 1916, FJtbam Dairy Co.; 1917 and 1918 Island Dairy Co. In each of these competitions the winners take £5 each for the makers.
