BREAD SUPPLY ASSURED

UNTIL NEXT HARVEST. (Received 11.25 a.m.) LONDON, May 28. The "Daily Express" cays that the Food Ministry considers that the bread supply of Britain is definitely until the next harvest. The policy of extracting the largest proportion of ■w-heat during milling and admixture of other cereale, has been equivalent to caving one-third of Hie average yearly importation without apparently affecting health. Already the proportion of wheat extraction has twice been lowered. Further reductions will be made when that can safely be done. A number of Danish farm workers will shortly be available , to v.ork on English farms.—(A. and X.Z. Cable.)
