MORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE.
There was uot a very large yarding of stock at the Farmers' Auctioneering Co.'a Morrinsville Bale on Friday. No fat steers I were entered, and tor stores and calves the market was easy. Sweep maintained recent rates. There was a large yarding of dairy cattle, including some really good cows. Good, | cows uutt heifers close to profit sold well, i but lor backward sorts there was not a ! keen demand. I , rices were: I'igs, slips 'SI/, '• porkers 37/ to 48/. Sheep, fat wethers 33/, ( rat ewes 26/9 to 27/4, good woolly hoggets ' IU/8 to 20/ti, good ewes in lamb 27/1 to 128/3, store ewes 14/2 to 15/. Cattle, fat cows £10 14/ to £11 17/0, fresh conditioned ■ cowe £7 12/ to £9 10/. store cows, low con- I ditlon, £4 7/ to £5 19/, 20 months to 2 ! year steers no demand and no sales effected, i Kood coloured steer calves £4 9/ to £4 11/, j others £2 12/6 to £2 19/, good heifer calves i £3 30/ to £4 11/, calves, mixed sexes, £2 account Mr E. Hubbard, of Patetonga, averaged £19 6/6, the top price being £24 for a Jersey cow close to profit, choice dairy cows close to profit made from £18 10/ to £24, more backward cows £10 15/ to £33 choice dairy heifers close to profit £13 12/6 to £15 15/, backward sorts £9 10/ ta £11 XV.
