THE LATE DR. BEDFORD

To-morrow afternoon, at three o'clock, in the Pitt Street Methodist Church, there is to be a memorial service to the late Dr. Bedford, when representatives from tbe following societies will take part: Rev. P. S. Smallfield (N.Z. Alliance), Rev. A. B. C. Chappell, M.A. (Auckland University), C. 11. Poole, M.P., W. E. Bush. (V.M.C.A.), and the Rev. F. Warner (Ministers' Association). Mr W. Astley will sing "Crossing the Bar," and suitable hymns will be led by the church choir. Mr Edgar Randall will preside nt the organ and play "Tbe Dead March in Saul."
