Mr. J. W. Browne, of Epsom, has received information that his son, Ser<*t. . Charles Tounley Browne, aged 22 years has been awarded the Military Medal.' Sergeant Browne, who is only 22 years of age, wa 6 in the " Countess of Ranfurly*s Own," Auckland, and en- ' ii 8 in the 3rd Battalion of the 9th Reinforcements.
