COAST DEFENCE PARADE.
A parade of the Coast Defence Infantry Detachment, under Lieut.-Col. J. P. Stevenson, was held at the Drill Hall last night. The troops were inspected by Colonel G. T. Smith, 0.C.D., ■who expressed himself as being highly pleased -scith the general bearing of the men. After the detachment had "inarched past" in the hall, they paraded Queen Street, headed by tlfe Coast Defence Band.
