CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.

A MOTORIST ARRESTED

(Br 7'elegrapli. —Press Association.) GORE, this day. Yesterday afternoon Percy George Shave, clerk, of Gore, aged 17, was arrested on a charge of manslaughter, for causing .the death of Robert Timmis Coomer on December 22. IDI7. Coomer. a man aged 73, was well known as a retired district farmer and dredge owner. He was knocked down by a motor-car driven by Shave, death subsequently ensuing. Accused was brought before Mr. Young. S.M.. to-day and remanded on bail, himself £100 and one other security of £100.
