BRITISH NOT TO BE BLUFFED BY ENEMY THREATS.
(Received 11.45 a.m.) J PARIS, February 20. A hio'h British officer, interviewed by the "Matin," said:—"Germany must precipitate an assault and make an effort to finish tilings at all coste in order to justify promises to the troops. The Germans believe that they can agitate us by the threat of an offensive and accounts of preparationa, but we know the value of these accounts."—(A. ajid N.Z. Cable.)
