WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON", this day. At a meeting of trie executive of. the Waikato'Winter Show Association a committee was set up to confer with Mr. Joseph' Frear in reference to outbuildings, a report to be submitted to the next meeting. It was decided to specially invite the Minister of Education to' attend the Show ou Children's Day (Wednesday, .Tun.- 3), and deliver an address to the school children. Mr. J. A. Young, M.P.. intimated that as the result of an interview with the Minister of Agriculture he. had been promised that the Agricultural Department exhibit would be , available lor the show. The action of the secretary in adding additional -olns-se-s ■to the dairy section was approved. It was decided to hand the tea-rooens over to the members of the Ladies' Red Crocs Society, to run in the interests of thn Society. A «ommittee was, appointed to make arrangements for a secretary's office in connection with the show. The president and secretary referred to the indebtedness of the Association to the Press, and on- the suggestion of the latter it was resolved to specially invite the newspaper men of the Dominion to attend the show an Visitors' Day (Thursday, -.funci fi), the guests of the Association', and the Borough Council and Chamber of Commerce are to be invited to participate in the entertainment. The secretary was authorised to arrange for a programme of Scottish dancing and pipe c-.mte.sts during the show. Samples of award cards were submitted for approval, and the secretary is to make the final selection.
