Vernon Castle, the famous dancer, has been killed while aviating. — (A. and 2S T .Z. Cable.)
Yernon Castle and his wife, ■who is a noted beauty, came into fame in America when the tange craze was at its height, first as teachers and later as exponents of the dance on the stage. Castle, who was an Englishman, enlisted in the Royal Flying Corps a year or two ago, and after his departure his wife entered the motion picture iield with much success. Apparently he was on loan to the American army at the time of his death.
