WAR TIME DAIRYING.
INCREASE IN COST. (Received 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. — The Commodities Commission is inquiring into the prices of dairy products. Th- manager of the Dairy Farmers' Milk Company stated in evidence that cows now cost up to £30, as against a pre-war cost of £S to £10. The cost of milk production before the Avar iva= sixpence per gallon, and was now ninepence to tenpence per gallon.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
