SENTENCE ON BOLO.
CROWD CHEERS VERDICT. ACCOMPLICE DEALT WITH IN ABSENCE. LONDON, February 15. The death sentence passed on 8010 was unanimous. He was found guilty of conveying intelligence to the enemy. His accomplice, Cavallini, a former Italian deputy, was sentenced to be shot if ho returns to France. Porehere, another accomplice, was sentenced to imprisonment for three years for having commercial relations with the enemy — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
(Received 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, February 15. A sensation was caused in the crowded Court as the judges answered each of the eleven questions regarding 8010. The crowd outside cheered the verdict, shouting, "A mort, Bolo!" The accused was not present when the verdict was given. (A. aaid N.Z. Cable.)
BOLO LODGING APPEAL. ALLEGATION AGAINST COURT. (Received 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, February 15. The Press unanimously approve Bolo's sentence. It is announced that 8010 is appealing to the Court of Cassation. The
"Petit l'arisien" says that the appeal necessitates a. rehearing, as the defence alleges that tho witness Casella was seen conferring with the President of the Court.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
